SERVER ENGINEER
NAIROBI, KENYAWe are seeking a talented and experienced Server Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building and maintaining high-performance servers in a dynamic environment. As a Server Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex server systems, as well as troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues in a timely manner. You should have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently as well as within a team environment.

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable server systems
- Monitor server performance and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
- Manage backup and recovery of server data
- Develop and maintain documentation for server systems and processes
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of server systems with other systems and applications
- Overseeing server installations, maintenance, and upgrades
- Managing backups and disaster recovery plans
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in server engineering
- Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Linux/Unix-based server systems
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare or Hyper-V
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
