SAP ABAP Consultant
Job Description:
As an SAP ABAP Consultant, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining SAP applications to meet the business requirements of our clients. You will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that optimize SAP functionality and improve business processes.

What to Know:
- Will work with a group of 12 engineers who have worked in all large organizations in the US
- Interested candidates need to be open to work all US working hours at first, whether PST, CST or EST and then some flexibility over time

Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP programming language.
• Customize standard SAP functionalities to meet specific business requirements.
• Integrate SAP systems with third-party applications and legacy systems using various integration techniques such as RFC, IDoc, BAPI, and web services.
• Optimize the performance of SAP programs and transactions by identifying and resolving performance issues.
• Debug programs and troubleshoot issues in SAP systems, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Document technical specifications, development standards, and system configurations.
• Provide training and support to end-users and project team members on SAP functionalities and best practices.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with business objectives.
• Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years hands on experience in ABAP out of which minimum 2 years should be in APO ABAP
• 5 - 8 years of experience as a SAP ABAP Consultant, with a proven track record of successful SAP implementations and project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and SAP development tools.
• Must have at least 3 End to End project implementation experience preferably in PPDS/E-PPDS
• Experience in customizing standard SAP functionalities and integrating SAP systems with third-party applications.
• SAP ABAP/4 programming hands on experience should include using SAP Script, IDocs, BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, LSMW, BDC coding, writing user exits and interfaces
•  Ability to analyze and fix issues related to Gateway OData
• Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting issues in SAP systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

SAP certification(s) preferred.
