Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Engineer to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of enterprise solutions driven by card payment technologies.

Project Overview

The card engineer is responsible for the creation of technically complex multi-component solution designs and he/she partners with Enterprise Architects to identify and implement card solutions that enable business needs. The card engineer will lead and influence the project team to ensure the technical success of initiatives, utilizing sound expertise in the evaluation and creation of multiple solution design options, meeting business requirements around the card solutions.

Scope of Work

1. Provide expertise in card payment technologies and solutions to enable the design and development of high-quality solutions that are scalable, secure, and stable.
2. Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to analyse product requirements and design best-fit architectures and solutions, guided by Tezza’s policies and industry best practices and standards.
3. Identify and implement innovative solutions and card payments technologies to support new and existing business opportunities in Issuing, Acquiring, and Payments processing.
4. Accountable for the timely agile delivery of high-quality solutions and providing end-to-end life cycle support.
5. Manage the timely and accurate execution of host certifications, white plastic certifications, digital wallets certifications and terminal certifications as mandated by the bank and payment schemes.
6. Support the fulfilment of periodic enhancement releases from Visa, MasterCard, UPI, and JCB, to ensure compliance with mandates and industry standards.
7. Collaborate with Technology Risk and Security teams to ensure that applications are well secured as per the bank’s Technology Security policies and standards.
8. Performing technical evaluations of new technology products or suggesting changes/enhancements to existing products/environments to fulfill business needs.
9. Collaboration with vendor partners for integration of partner development activities within the project timeline.

Qualifications and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in business/technology related field.
2. 5 years of experience managing card systems (Transware is an added advantage).
3. 5 years of experience in Banking Operations.
4. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
5. Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment.
