The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in accurately measuring land, conducting surveys, and preparing detailed reports. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex data effectively. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of land measurements and reports for a variety of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys and measurements using advanced surveying equipment and techniques.
- Analyze survey data to determine property boundaries, topography, and other relevant information.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting survey findings, including maps, diagrams, and written descriptions.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate survey data into architectural designs and plans.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather additional data as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards governing land measurement and surveying.
- Provide expert guidance and support to junior team members on land measurement and reporting best practices.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and methodologies in land surveying and integrate them into our practices where appropriate.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities regarding land measurement and reporting matters.
- Participate in project meetings, presentations, and discussions to provide expertise on land measurement and reporting issues.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, Surveying, or related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in land measurement and reporting, with a strong understanding of surveying techniques and methodologies
- Familiarity with surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners is preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and GIS tools for data analysis and mapping.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as needed.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards governing land measurement and surveying practices.
