Job Title: Mobile Application Tester

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile Application Tester to join our QA team in Abuja. The ideal candidate will have solid experience testing mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality mobile releases by performing manual and automated testing, identifying bugs, and collaborating with developers and designers to improve app performance and usability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile applications.
• Conduct manual and automated testing of native and hybrid mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, usability, performance, and compatibility testing.
• Document and track defects using tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Developers, Product Managers, and UI/UX Designers.
• Ensure mobile applications meet business and technical requirements.
• Test API integrations using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Provide feedback on user experience and app functionality.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in mobile testing tools and technologies.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mobile application testing.
• Strong knowledge of Android and iOS operating systems.
• Experience with testing tools like Appium, Selenium, Postman, JIRA, etc.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks is a plus.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• B.Sc./HND in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• ISTQB certification or other relevant QA certifications (a plus).
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
