Job Summary: The USSD Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining USSD applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain USSD applications to support various business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
- Integrate USSD applications with backend systems and databases.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in mobile communications and USSD.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a USSD Developer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, PHP, or C#.
- Experience with USSD Gateway platforms and protocols.
- Strong understanding of mobile network technologies and architectures.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with mobile payment systems and integration.
- Knowledge of GSM, CDMA, and LTE technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
